Well, the Meeting Of Styles event in Holloway seemed to go down a storm. Well done to the organisers for rounding up some of the best aerosol artists in Europe into one spot. Here’s the wall I painted with fellow crew member Jasik. Ladders can be a pain…

I had to go back the following day to remove/replace some Japanese text from the right side of the spacegirl’s hemet that reading ‘Death’ as some of the Asian residents opposite had found it offensive and that could be seen as a bad omen!

I also met a dude called Matt who showed me his tattoo of the cheshire cat I painted as part of an Alice in Wonderland themed wall back in 2007!!!

A Day Out With Balrog

Over the weekend, myself and Balrog decided to take a trip down to the skate Park in Mile End to partake in a spot of wall painting. This is our story…

So a promo video for the 2010 remix of the classic 80’s theme tune to UM BONGO launched today on YouTube. The video encompasses the results of 4 days of blood sweat and tears filming in an abandoned warehouse in South London using the ’stop frame’ technique to animate my artwork…a slow, painful but ultimately very satisfying method of working.

Last weekend I spent two days painting a mammoth wall in the centre of Brighton along side Sinna, Mishfit, DBO and Kevin Munday as part of the annual TBTC event. It was hard work but felt good to be painting on a large scale. Pics follow…

Although I could have found a space without a problem, I’ve always believed that a debut solo show should be a big deal and that without the right publicity and location, it’s something worth holding back on. I’ve subsequently decided to make a batch of my new paintings available to the public…
